Workshops are a mix of yoga nidra, Hatha and Yin yoga—and journaling prompts designed for deep reflection.

When the body and mind are connected and quiet, the inner voice rises to the page.

Our stories are revealed.

This process dissolves blockages for the creatives among us who get stuck in their heads, by bringing the process back into the body.

Sessions are available over Zoom as well as in-person in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens.

What is Yoga nidra?

Yoga nidra means yogic sleep, and that is what it is!

In yoga nidra we enter a state of deep relaxation, one that mimics sleep in the body while we remain awake in the mind. Unmoving and supported by the ground, the body releases stress through each exhale.

Yoga nidra combined with asana (posture) practice, is a powerful way to restore equilibrium by helping us drop into the parasympathetic nervous system.

(Bolster your immune system by practicing yoga Nidra for 5 minutes upon waking and before falling asleep.)

Om.

Once our bodies are relaxed, we can explore the inner worlds through guided visualization and meditation.

Slowly, we come to explore our deeper layers.

Ofelia Lopez Aranda, Sustainable Investor, Los Angeles

“This is the first time I tried something like this. Vanessa adapted the exercise to my level of experience and it felt really comfortable and enjoyable. I was amazed at how I could focus on slowing down and quieting things inside and around me, and by how easily the journaling session flowed. It made me realize just how important and impactful the process could be in daily life.”
