What is Yoga nidra?
Yoga nidra means yogic sleep, and that is what it is!
In yoga nidra we enter a state of deep relaxation, one that mimics sleep while we remain awake. Unmoving and supported by the ground, the body releases stress through the breath. Yoga nidra combined with asana (posture) practice, is a powerful way to restore equilibrium to the mindbody.
(Take yoga nidra home, and bolster your immune system by practicing for 5 minutes when you wake up and before you fall asleep.)
